This page states what Chiron does with your data in terms your compliance function can test. Where a claim cannot be technically defended, it is not made.
Uploaded files are read in memory, the structured data is extracted, and the file is discarded inside the same request. No file is written to disk or object storage. Chiron keeps a SHA-256 hash of each document, with its filename and size, so the same document is recognized across your team without retention. The tradeoff, stated openly: there is no in-app source viewing on those deals, because there is no stored source. Extracted citations point into a document only you hold, which validates your own record; that is not independent verification.
There is no cross-firm aggregation on this product, and no opt-in to one. Every query in the application is scoped to your workspace. Your lens, your deal records, your flags, and your questions are visible to your workspace members and to no one else.
Processing is access-controlled and automated. No human reviews your documents or your questions. Your data is not used to train models. Model processing is ephemeral with zero retention configured at the model provider. Chiron does not claim it cannot technically read the data it processes; deduplication and analysis require the system to read it. The claims made here are the ones that hold: access control, no human review, and no retention.
Sign-in is by single-use email link or code, expiring in 30 minutes; there are no passwords to steal. Session tokens are stored hashed, expire after 30 days or 7 days of inactivity, and can be revoked everywhere from settings. Workspace joining is closed by default: a colleague from your email domain must be approved by the workspace owner before seeing anything.
Chiron is a product of Argus Technologies Corp. The separation from the Argus Portal is technical, not cosmetic: a separate application, separate storage, a separate retention policy, and no shared processing path.
